Maite Perroni Beorlegui is a Mexican actress, singer, songwriter, and producer. She first found international fame in 2004 for her role in the Mexican telenovela Rebelde, which also launched the Latin Grammy-nominated pop-rock group RBD. Perroni has built her acting career in Televisa telenovelas and film roles. She recently appeared in the Netflix erotic thriller Dark Desire as a college professor and attorney who has an affair with a younger man.
