Since the COVID-19 pandemic passed, infectious diseases have become a normal part of life. Although medical advances eliminated the need for face masks, a new mysterious disease suddenly emerged and spread rapidly across the city. Prach, a young police detective, investigates a murder case that initially looks like a simple brawl. However, his shrewd analysis reveals the murder's cause is more complex: a drug called "Next" that turns users into "crazed persons". At the same time, Run, a police special operations officer, encounters a bizarre incident during her duty. A sister she knows transforms into a crazed person, fatally bites her husband's neck, and injures Run, leading to Run's detention at a quarantine facility. There, Yutthasak, a commander from the special control unit with an unknown background, takes control and attempts to conceal the truth. Recognizing Prach's capabilities, Yutthasak tries to recruit him to help track down the person who released the "Next" drug, the source of the "Crazed Person Disease". The next morning, Run is released after testing negative but must return for re-testing. This is because the virus is a special strain that affects the brain and can turn people into crazed individuals. Anyone bitten either dies from blood loss or becomes a new infected person. Meanwhile, Prach's case faces interference, increasing his suspicion of Yutthasak and his resolve to find the origin of the Next drug. Run agrees to a mission from Yutthasak in exchange for the condo she has always dreamed of, believing happiness will follow. Ultimately, Run discovers that the condo she moved into is a distribution source for the Next drug and has infected people inside. This results in the condo being locked down, forcing all residents to fight for survival within this closed-off deadly battleground.
